That is not counting possible blacklisting/whitelisting of the disks for your country which this software cannot handle.

Also, in order to rip the disks (or play that movie you bought in itunes in MPC:HC or VLC), you need to spend cash on OTHER software which can be $300 for a lifetime lisence (IMO better than paying the cash each year for this software).

I have used the free software to play the disks back and the only stuff you get is access to the raw files. I have seen epsiodes on a disk range from 3 GB ish to 7 GB. Yes I know the sizes of the files-they vary widely based on who made the disk.

It’s capable of playing virtually any existing media formats including the AVI, MKV, RMVB, MP4, MOV and etc. It started as a Linux media player but later extended its support to Windows. Also, NO free software out on the market will handle the 3d aspect aside from this software. MPlayer is a free, open-source and highly-portable multimedia player. Enjoy seamless video casting to any device or computer at home or enjoy smooth, vivid videos on-the-go with CyberLink Cloud media server. From the creators of PowerDVD, PowerPlayer brings unparalleled media playback for your movies and digital TV collection. I have tried clicking all the other files and it does not make a difference. I can't do this with PowerDVD 12 because it stops after each VOB file.

I was wondering if anyone here considered it to be worth it with all the extra bells and whistles it brings to the table, or what your player of choice is. PowerPlayer is the all-in-one media player that is also a personal media server. Something that is important to me is being able to play VOB files seemlessly without stopping and starting in order to see a full movie. When I searched, I kept seeing Cyberlink PowerDVD 20 popping up. Plus, with support for DTS HD Audio and Dolby True HD Audio, PowerDVD can deliver a cinema-like audio experience wherever you take it. Playback Blu-ray discs, ISO files and Ultra HD video files for an unparalleled audiovisual experience. Depending on your BD drive it might take hours or it might take a hour for a dual-layer disk. I know VLC has the ability to do so but Ive been really struggling at getting it to work. PowerDVD is the world’s best performing 4K and 8K Media Player with HDR10 support. Your basically on the fence here borderline, "Just pirate it." talk. PowerDVD 21 feels packed to the rafters with features. If you can't stick it into the drive and it plays then it is a hassle. It ranks as number one in our list of the best Blu-ray player software, but if you're using Apple hardware you'd be better to opt for something like MacGo Player. It would literally take hours to rip a blu-ray.
